Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Data Management Discipline Leader to advance our environmental data practices across projects and programs. You will steer EQuIS-based workflows, ensure data quality, and elevate data governance within the Environmental Services Group.

You will guide strategic data management, validation, and analytics initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver defensible, scalable solutions that support project delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; travel may be required.
7+ years of related experience in environmental data management or related field.
Experience with EQuIS or similar data management platforms.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Ability to develop and implement data governance frameworks and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Provide national leadership for environmental data management across ESG programs.
Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and SOPs.
Lead EQuIS platform strategy, data loading, validation, and analytics workflows.
Oversee validation QA/QC processes and data quality objectives.
Coordinate data analytics, dashboards, and reporting integrations.
Support project startups with data requirements in scope and budgets.
Mentor staff and build capability across multiple projects.
