Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a seasoned Energy Lead Survey Engineer for the Port Arthur LNG project site. This role oversees all surveying activities, ensuring safe, accurate layout of foundations and structures while coordinating with field engineering and construction teams on a major LNG facility.

The candidate will require a strong background in heavy construction surveying, supervision of crews, and experience with Leica/Trimble instruments, Survey CAD, UAV programs, and 3D

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in heavy construction surveying and field-to-office coordination.
• Strong safety culture with focus on Zero Incidents program.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project surveying activities and coordinate with survey management.
• Oversee survey control network establishment and maintenance.
• Supervise direct hire and subcontracted survey crews; verify control points.
• Produce survey CAD drawings, DTMs, and volume computations.
• Support machine control, UAV/Drones, 3D laser scanning, and metrology surveys.
• Mentor junior survey staff and coordinate career development.
