Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an Energy Lead Survey Engineer for the Port Arthur LNG project site, TX. The role involves managing all survey activities, coordinating with field engineering and supervision, and supporting drone, CAD, and metrology operations on a 48-hour extended work week.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 10–17 years of experience in construction survey, with strong leadership and safety discipline. Relocation is available for national/international candidates.

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Incidents safety program and commitment to safety on site.
Knowledge of construction survey principles and Bechtel procedures.
Experience supervising survey crews and coordinating with field engineering and construction teams.

Responsibilities

Lead all project surveying activities and coordinate with survey management.
Ensure safety, quality, and environmental programs are implemented by the survey team.
Advise construction management on technical survey solutions and field verification of materials.
Provide survey support to Field Engineering and Field Supervision.
Oversee survey control network establishment, verification, and maintenance.
Oversee CAD drawings, DTMs, volumes, and survey data management.
