Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Field Engineer for a Port Arthur LNG project in Texas. You will provide field engineering, planning, material management, QC, testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination to support safe, compliant installation activities.

Qualified candidates have 8–14 years of experience, NEC/NETA knowledge, and the ability to read electrical diagrams; TWIC is preferred. Travel and flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with NEC, NETA, electrical safety practices, and 600V systems.
• Must be able to perform field inspections and operate PPE; willingness for flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supports lead discipline engineer in coordinating technical resolution and ensuring compliance with drawings and codes.
• Coordinates across disciplines to provide information for Construction teams.
• Verifies permit/license compliance and conducts field verification of installed equipment.
• Issues punch lists for deficient work and disposition of Non-Conformance Reports.
• Assists with interpretation of design drawings and installation details; raises Field Change Documents as needed.
• Interfaces with Resident Engineering for clarifications and turnover activities.
• Ensures materials/equipment on site meet international standards and specs.
• Conducts field walkdowns for system turnover with CSU/Client.
