Job summary
Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Release Train Engineer to serve as a servant leader and execution partner for a complex Agile Release Train environment. You will drive ART maturity, coach leaders and teams, and translate delivery commitments into executable plans across multiple trains.
You will partner with Product Management, Architects, and engineering leaders to ensure the ART delivers as one integrated system, while guiding Lean‑Agile practices, flow, and governance across the SDLC.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technical program management, agile delivery leadership, or SDLC operations.
- 4+ years facilitating Agile Release Train execution, PI Planning, and ART-level governance.
- Proven ability to coach leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and engineering teams in Lean-Agile practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead PI Planning readiness, PI Planning, ART Sync, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt for complex ARTs.
- Drive cross‑team alignment of scope, capacity, dependencies and tradeoffs before commitments.
- Coach multiple roles on Lean‑Agile practices, clarify roles, and improve flow and decision making.
