Job summary

Cox is seeking a Release Train Engineer to support the Agile Release Train (ART) in delivering software value at scale. The role focuses on coordinating release planning, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with company strategy.

You will facilitate PI planning, enable feature refinement, and drive continuous improvement across the ART. The ideal candidate has 4+ years as an RTE, strong program management and Agile skills, and the ability to work onsite in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and at least 4 years’ experience as a Release Train Engineer.
• Experience applying Lean Thinking and Systems Thinking in large organizations.
• Experience with Lean Portfolio Management facilitation for program, portfolio, or executive level.
• Experience working in an Agile organization using Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe or other scaling model.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates release planning with the ART and coordinates feature definition for the next PI planning cycle.
• Supports backlog management, metrics collection, and reporting for the ART.
• Drives continuous improvement through ART retrospectives and community of practice.
• Leads AI adoption and ensures alignment with organizational AI policies and standards.
