Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Lead Release Train Engineer (RTE) to guide Agile Release Train execution within the SDLC. You will partner with Product Management, Architects, and engineering leaders to ensure aligned delivery across the train for AI-ready connectivity initiatives.

Responsibilities include PI planning, cross-team coordination, risk management, and data-driven reporting. This role is remote within the U.S. and requires strong SAFe/Agile leadership and one coordinated delivery system.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in technical program management, Agile delivery leadership, SDLC.
• 2 years operating in or supporting an ART-level environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate PI Planning readiness and execution for one Agile Release Train.
• Coordinate planning and execution across teams on the ART.
• Identify, track, manage and elevate ART-level risks and dependencies.
• Own ART-level metrics and reporting (flow, velocity, predictability).
• Coordinate ART release readiness and release-on-demand activities.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and I&A events.
