Job summary

Ameritech Facility Services in Mansfield, TX is seeking an experienced Lead Project Coordinator to oversee our commercial construction project coordination team and serve as the operational backbone from award through closeout.

This leadership role requires strong coordination, contract administration, and proficiency with Acumatica and MS Excel; you will mentor coordinators, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and drive project profitability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project coordination experience.
• Experience supporting commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
• Experience leading or mentoring Project Coordinators or project support staff.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction documentation and project administration.
• Experience managing contracts, subcontracts, change orders, pay applications, lien waivers, and compliance documentation.
• Strong financial and administrative understanding of commercial construction projects.
• Advanced organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• High attention to detail with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Coordination Team and recruit/train Coordinators.
• Mentor Coordinators on company processes and construction best practices.
• Conduct weekly/biweekly project review meetings with PMs and Coordinators.
• Communicate new procedures and improvements to the project team.
• Identify workflow issues and recommend process improvements to leadership.
• Foster collaboration between Project Management, Accounting, Estimating, and Operations.
• Approve weekly Project Coordinator payroll.
• Track labor allocations and ensure correct charging.
• Coordinate PTO schedules on the company calendar.
• Ensure fully executed contracts precede project start and assist with AIA contracts.
