Job summary

CGS is seeking a Senior Lead Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a large-scale network for government projects. You will interface with government personnel, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure secure, resilient wired and wireless infrastructure.

The role emphasizes network security, disaster recovery planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of network operations within the CGS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, CS, IS or related field.
• Strong documentation skills with Jira, Wiki, and diagrams.
• Experience with RF survey tools and network design.
• Security-focused network administration and patching.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage CGS network infrastructure.
• Improve monitoring and reporting via network software.
• Document network architecture and diagrams.
• Review best practices and recommend design improvements.
• Lead onboarding, monitoring, and maintenance of wireless networks.
• Assess and optimize the NPS network infrastructure.
• Define testing procedures for new infrastructure projects.
• Provide design guidance on network solutions.
