Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer II to design, implement, and maintain a large-scale network spanning wired and wireless infrastructure. You will interface with government personnel and vendors to ensure secure, robust network operations.

The role emphasizes documentation, testing, vulnerability assessments, and providing guidance on network solutions within NPS projects, with a focus on security and disaster-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and related discipline.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain Jira/Wiki pages.
• Excellent communication with end users and cross-organizational staff.
• CWNA Certification or equivalent
• BCNE Certification or equivalent
• Experience with RF site survey tools (Ekahau, RF Scanners, Wireshark)

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NPS network infrastructure.
• Improve infrastructure monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and deliver infrastructure documentation for NPS.
• Review best practices and provide architecture recommendations.
• Administer Cloudpath onboarding, monitor wireless health, and patching.
• Assess network infrastructure and recommend improvements.
