Job summary

Fivetran is seeking an experienced Senior Lead, Employee Experience & Internal Communications to shape how our people work, listen, and connect. You’ll write, design listening programs, build recognition initiatives, and scale culture and community efforts across global teams.

You’ll partner with executives, analyze surveys and engagement metrics, drive change through communications, and help plan events for distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience across internal communications and employee experience/engagement.
• Experience designing employee listening, feedback, or survey programs.
• Experience building or running employee recognition programs.
• Experience planning and executing company-wide events or community programming, including for distributed/remote teams.
• Strong ability to analyze and present data, and use it to tell a story.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work independently as a senior contributor.
• Experience working cross-collaboratively with employees and executives at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Own the internal communications strategy, calendar, and multi-channel distribution framework across People and COO organizations.
• Write and edit clear, engaging content for internal audiences across our wiki and other channels.
• Craft consistent messaging on company updates, initiatives, and achievements.
• Support leadership on change and reorg communications, ensuring transparency and buy-in.
• Manage and optimize internal channels (email, intranet, Slack, etc.).
• Develop and maintain a crisis communications plan for events affecting the company and employees.
• Design and run an employee listening framework across groups and quarterly cadence.
• Establish feedback mechanisms and translate insights into action.
• Build and document a company-wide recognition framework and pilot it with teams.
• Integrate recognition into tools like Slack and Workday and align with values.
• Identify and launch culture initiatives tied to company values.
• Track awareness and adoption through surveys and metrics.
• Design a connection framework for events and community programming for distributed hubs.
• Plan and deliver company events with attendance and satisfaction goals.
• Analyze data (surveys, attendance, engagement) and tell a clear story to drive decisions.
