Job summary

AZ Beauty Age is seeking a Level 3 Lead Cook in Ocala, FL. This senior role supervises kitchen operations, mentors cooks, and supports the Lead Chef and Executive Chef in training and quality control.

You will bridge daily execution with management oversight, ensuring safety, consistency, and exceptional plating. The ideal candidate has 4–5 years in fine dining, strong leadership, and solid knife skills, with proficiency in inventory and food cost management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; culinary degree or vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum 4–5 years of progressive culinary experience in fine dining.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent understanding of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and plating aesthetics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate multiple stations to ensure consistent quality and timing.
• Lead service by calling orders, managing pacing, and ensuring smooth communication between the kitchen and the front of house.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate cooks at all levels to develop their culinary and leadership skills.
• Support inventory management, ordering, and cost control efforts.
• Maintain sanitation and safety protocols; inspect stations before and after service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of kitchen staff.
