Job summary

The World Equestrian Center in Ocala, FL is seeking a senior Cook I to oversee station and kitchen operations, mentoring Cook II/III and ensuring top quality and safety across all services. This role requires strong culinary skills, teamwork, and the ability to train staff while maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities include supervising preparation and plating, controlling inventory, enforcing health and safety guidelines, and collaborating with front-of-house to ensure smooth dining

Qualifications

• Advanced culinary skills required.
• Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff.
• Experience training Cook II/III staff a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of food items.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Train, mentor, and supervise Cook II/III staff and other kitchen team members.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen and storage areas.

• Manage inventory and stock rotation.
