The Sr. Manufacturing Technician IV – Laser Assembly at ALST, part of Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions (IMS), is based in Orlando, FL. You will independently build laser systems from start to finish, lead troubleshooting, and support process improvements in a cleanroom environment.

We seek a candidate with strong hands-on optical/electrical/mechanical skills, able to mentor junior staff, and willing to work extended hours to meet commitments. U.S. citizen or ITAR-compliant is required.

Formación

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person due to ITAR requirements.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in optical/laser systems and manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble, integrate, align, test, and qualify laser systems from start to finish.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex failures in optical, electrical, and mechanical subsystems.
• Perform advanced rework, repair, disassembly, and reassembly of laser systems.
• Document results meticulously and maintain records of assembly and test outcomes.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and support engineering with process improvements.
• Drive manufacturing yield, cycle time, and product quality improvements.
