Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Superintendent to join our Large Project Group in Dallas, TX. This role oversees field activities, manages subcontractors and employees, and helps ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, monitoring schedules, and enforcing safety and quality standards across the site. Large project experience and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of construction experience with at least 3 years as Superintendent on large projects.
• Proficiency using a PC and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and updates project progress and cost reports, schedules, and requirements with Project Manager/Senior Superintendent.
• Participates in preconstruction planning regarding schedule and budget.
• Ensures contract documents and quality specifications are followed on site.
• Directs subcontractors and field personnel to meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Attends weekly progress meetings and supports closeout activities.
• Promotes customer relations and maintains a safe, compliant work environment.
