Job summary

Balfour Beatty is seeking a General Superintendent for our Large Projects Group in Dallas, TX. This role leads field activities, safety programs, and subcontractor supervision on landmark projects in the DFW market.

The Superintendent partners with operations directors and PMs to manage budgets, preconstruction input, and on-time, within-budget project delivery while mentoring field personnel and ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10+ years of large project experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with PC/Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field activities and subcontractors to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Mentor and manage field staff including superintendents and foremen.
• Develop and manage project budgets, preconstruction input, and buyout strategies.
• Lead progress and safety meetings with stakeholders and owners.
