Job summary

RVi Planning + Landscape Architecture in Orlando, FL is seeking a Land Planning Project Manager to lead site planning and entitlement efforts for residential master plans, representing clients with municipalities, preparing study documents, and guiding projects through approvals.

You will collaborate across design and planning teams, mentor staff, manage budgets, and deliver clear presentations to clients and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in urban planning, landscape architecture, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in residential master planning and community design.
• Understanding of placemaking, community design, and entitlement process.
• Ability to prepare planning documents and submittals, conduct independent research, support multiple projects.
• Strong project management skills: planning, scheduling, budgets, and coordinating staff/sub-consultants.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, and digital rendering programs.
• Strong writing and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the Land Planning Process.
• Prepare planning studies and complex land use petitions for private clients.
• Build and maintain client and municipal agency relationships.
• Mentor planning staff and promote inter-studio collaboration.
