Job summary

LJA is seeking a Project Manager for Land Development to lead civil engineering projects for Municipal Utility Districts, Levee Improvement Districts, and Drainage Districts. You will manage design, specifications, and construction documents, while serving as District Engineer and maintaining strong client and agency relationships.

You will mentor staff, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or higher.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
• Minimum 7+ years post-graduate civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and technicians to deliver construction plans and reports for residential and commercial developments.
• Oversee design, specifications, and construction documents; attend district meetings as District Engineer.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients and governmental agencies to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
