Job summary

LJA Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Land Development to concept and design civil projects and coordinate multiple phases. You will work with experienced engineers and managers to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in civil engineering, 5+ years of post-graduate experience, and strong communication skills. A PE license or active application is preferred as you support a growing client base and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or application submitted.
• 5+ years of post-graduate civil engineering experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and coordinate civil engineering projects from small to large scale.
• Serve as a technical contributor applying engineering judgment across project phases.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to meet client needs.
• Supervise less experienced engineers or technical staff as needed.
• Exercise independent judgment to select and adapt standard techniques.
