LJA Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Land Development to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate engineering projects with high impact on major programs. You will lead project teams and manage client relationships in a dynamic environment.

The role requires strong leadership, 10+ years of post-graduate experience or 2-3+ years post-master’s, a PE license, and a proven ability to manage complex scope and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer certification required.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and project-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct large or multiple complex engineering projects with impact on major company programs.
• Supervise engineering and support staff.
• Analyze scope, client RFPs and firm proposals; organize project work and procedures.
• Develop and monitor design schedules to meet client and firm timelines.
• Develop and manage client budgets and schedules.
• Lead business development, proposals, and client management.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and technical staff.
