Job summary

Thomas Young Group in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Senior Project Manager for land development to lead planning and execution of diverse projects, coordinating with clients and internal teams. You will guide engineers and CAD technicians, oversee schedules, and manage budgets to meet municipal requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6-10+ years of land development experience, a Texas P.E. license, and strong AutoCAD, Excel, and Word skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas.
• 6-10+ years of land development experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with municipal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects, developing plans and specs for paving, grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise engineers and CAD technicians, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Manage project reporting, timelines, and invoicing to align with budgets.
• Handle projects for cities, counties, and municipalities, ensuring regulatory compliance.
