Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager in Orlando, FL to lead the division’s land development programs, coordinating roadway, water/sewer, earthwork and public utilities. You will work with Area Construction Managers to deliver ready-to-build sites and manage budgets during entitlement, guiding projects from permits to community turnover.

The role emphasizes liaison with jurisdictions, ensuring land-use rights, SWPPP compliance, and successful field operations across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or similar program.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver.
• Valid Driver’s License and good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage required.
• Computer literacy including word-processing, spreadsheet analysis, and project scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Division’s land development program, directing roadway construction, water/sewer and earthwork.
• Coordinate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction to deliver ready-to-build home sites.
• Assist in creating development budgets and value-engineer design aspects.
• Develop relationships with jurisdictional entities for land use and development rights.
• Oversee projects from permits through construction and final certification.
• Manage field operations including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, landscaping, and amenities.
• Handle HOA management, budget analysis, and improvements to common spaces.
• Oversee bond maintenance and guaranty retrieval; coordinate with departments for amenity projects.
• Ensure SWPPP compliance and budget reconciliation with Director of Development.
