Job summary

Jackson Lewis seeks an experienced labor attorney to lead traditional labor relations matters from our Omaha, Nebraska office. The role emphasizes advising management on NLRA issues, handling NLRB matters, and supporting collective bargaining and contract negotiations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of labor law practice, Nebraska Bar admission, and excellent communication skills, with readiness for occasional travel. This is a hybrid position in Omaha.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA Accredited Law School.
• 5+ years of traditional labor law experience involving labor relations.
• Nebraska Bar Admission.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle unfair labor practice charges at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
• Represent management in NLRB elections.
• Provide legal advice on union organizing, corporate campaigns, card check and neutrality agreements.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements.
• Handle grievance and arbitration proceedings; obtain mass picketing injunctions as needed.
• Advise management on protected concerted activity and NLRA issues; conduct management training on labor relations.
