Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of traditional labor law and workplace compliance.
• Experience advising employers on federal and California labor regulations.
• Ability to train management on labor relations and compliance.
• Familiarity with NLRB processes, CBAs, grievances, and arbitrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and counsel on federal and California wage-and-hour issues, leave, accommodations and policy reviews.
• Represent management in unfair labor practice matters and NLRB elections.
• Negotiate and advise on collective bargaining agreements and related proceedings.
• Support due diligence on workplace law during acquisitions/mergers.
• Deliver management training on labor relations and enforcement techniques.
