Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Litigation Counsel for Labor and Employment matters, based in Starbase, TX onsite. The role covers U.S. and international jurisdictions, with a focus on labor and employment disputes.

You will manage all facets of litigation, conduct internal investigations, support discovery, draft pleadings, direct strategy, negotiate settlements, and identify risks to design preventative controls. Travel ~10% is expected.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Experience litigating labor and employment disputes in California.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of litigation, with a focus on labor and employment disputes but with opportunities to expand your portfolio to include consumer, contractual, commercial, or other kinds of legal disputes
• Conduct internal investigations; support discovery efforts; draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, and briefs; direct litigation strategy; and negotiate settlements
• Identify legal risks and mitigate them by designing and implementing controls
