Job summary

SpaceX seeks an experienced Litigation Counsel focusing on labor and employment matters, with domestic and international exposure. The role requires JD and 5+ years’ practice, including California disputes. Based in Starbase, TX, on-site work is required, with travel ~10%.

You will lead discovery, investigations, and strategy across litigations, settlements, and cross-functional initiatives, helping SpaceX manage risk as it grows.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.
• 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Experience litigating labor and employment disputes in California.

Responsibilities

• Manage all facets of litigation, with a focus on labor and employment disputes but with opportunities to expand your portfolio to include consumer, contractual, commercial, or other kinds of legal disputes.
• Conduct internal investigations; support discovery efforts; draft and review discovery requests/responses, pleadings, and briefs; direct litigation strategy; and negotiate settlements.
• Identify legal risks and mitigate them by designing and implementing controls.
