Talently is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney to advise employers and manage sophisticated employment litigation matters in Seattle. The role offers meaningful client exposure, a broad and varied practice, and collaboration with experienced attorneys within a diverse, high-performing team.

Ideal candidates will have 6–12 years of labor and employment experience, familiarity with single-plaintiff and class actions, and strong drafting and client-service skills.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience handling single-plaintiff and class action litigation.
• Broad knowledge of employment advice, including discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, leave, and disability accommodations.
• Experience drafting employment agreements, settlements, policies, and handbooks.
• Strong academic credentials with analytical, legal research, and writing skills.
• Ability to provide direct client service and develop lasting client relationships.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a client-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage single-plaintiff and class action labor and employment litigation from inception through resolution.
• Advise clients on anti-discrimination and harassment matters, wage and hour issues, employee leave, and disability accommodations.
• Draft and review employment agreements, settlement agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks.
• Provide efficient, practical, and responsive direct client service across a broad range of employment matters.
• Independently manage significant and simultaneous responsibilities while collaborating with multiple attorneys.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional communication and sound legal judgment.
• Support practice group business development and contribute to client growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and sustain a diverse, inclusive, high-performing team.
