Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar.
• 6–12 years of labor and employment law experience.
• Experience in employment litigation, counseling, and advisory work.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff claims, class and collective actions, discrimination/harassment, wage/hour disputes, and leave issues.
• Advise employers on day-to-day workplace issues and risk management strategies.
• Draft and review employment agreements, separation and settlement agreements, workplace policies, and employee handbooks.
• Counsel on disability accommodations, leave management, employment law compliance, and workplace investigations.
• Manage litigation strategy, discovery, motions, mediations, and hearings.
