Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
• Demonstrated experience in litigation, legal writing, and legal research.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on labor and employment matters including wage and hour disputes, safety, discrimination, and employee benefits.
• Conduct thorough legal research to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the organization in litigation and manage outside counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
• Develop employment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws.
• Conduct training sessions for management and staff on labor laws.
