Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law.
• 5+ years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
• Demonstrated experience in litigation, legal writing, and legal research.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• High ethical standards and integrity.

• Proficiency in using legal research software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on wage/hour disputes, workplace safety, discrimination, and employee benefits.
• Conduct thorough legal research to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the organization in litigation and manage outside counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and other documents.
• Develop and implement compliant employment policies and procedures.
• Conduct training sessions on labor laws for management and staff.
• Collaborate with departments to manage risk and ensure efficiency.
