Job summary

Adecco Group in Mesa, AZ seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations in a label/printing environment. You will ensure product quality, on-time delivery, and a safe workplace while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, experience in label manufacturing or related industries, and strong expertise in planning, scheduling, ERP/MES systems, and ISO/GMP quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing management experience, including leadership of 20+ employees
• Experience in label manufacturing, flexographic/digital printing, converting or related industry
• Strong planning, scheduling, and ERP/MES proficiency; ISO/GMP awareness

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production operations across label printing, converting, and finishing
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production workflows to meet delivery targets
• Lead and develop a team of production supervisors and operators
• Monitor KPIs including throughput, yield, waste, and OEE; drive corrective actions
• Enforce safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Collaborate with QA to maintain product consistency and resolve issues
• Coordinate with scheduling, customer service, and sales to align capacity
• Drive Lean initiatives and waste reduction across shifts
• Manage material utilization and downtime; optimize resource allocation
• Participate in capital planning and new product launches
• Prepare and present production reports to senior leadership
