Job summary

Resource Label Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Press (Digital and Flexo) and Hand Bindery (Finishing) departments, driving productivity, scheduling, and cost control. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within our packaging operations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in operations/production management.
• Pharmaceutical packaging knowledge or experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and regulatory requirements for packaging.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable reports.
• Proven ability to manage safety procedures and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to leads and operators within the Press and Hand Bindery departments.
• Coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet schedules.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear performance objectives aligned with goals.
• Provide mentorship and support to production staff.
• Manage staffing, equipment, and materials to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and quality.
• Promote safety and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Generate and analyze production metrics reports to drive improvements.
• Create department production schedules that meet customer deadlines.
• Partner with Quality to ensure compliance and finished goods accuracy.
