Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day production operations in a high-mix/low-volume pressure-sensitive label environment, ensuring safety, consistency, and efficiency across shifts.

The role emphasizes frontline coaching, equipment reliability, labor planning, and continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, quality, on-time delivery, and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field; 5+ years leadership experience.
• Experience in pressure-sensitive labels or related manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading frontline teams in fast-paced operations.
• Knowledge of labeling processes, laminating, and quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead production execution across shifts and supervise first and third shift teams.
• Set daily priorities, allocate labor, troubleshoot issues to meet customer schedules.
• Drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, throughput, waste reduction, and changeover efficiency.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Develop frontline employees through coaching, training, and accountability.
