Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in DeLand, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Laboratory Operations to oversee daily lab operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead high-performing teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in laboratory leadership, Florida Supervisor License in Microbiology, and ASCP MT certification, with a track record in CAP/CLIA standards and high-volume settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science.
• Minimum 5+ years of laboratory leadership experience.
• Active Florida Supervisor License in Microbiology (required).
• ASCP Medical Technologist certification/registry or equivalent.
• Experience managing high-volume, high-complexity laboratory operations.
• Strong knowledge of CAP/CLIA regulations and laboratory quality assurance.
• Experience leading laboratory teams and managing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations, workflow, and performance.
• Manage laboratory supervisors and frontline teams.
• Ensure CAP, CLIA, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Monitor operational metrics, staffing, and productivity.
• Mentor team members and support leadership succession planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
