Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies in DeLand, FL is seeking a Senior Laboratory Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a high-volume laboratory. You will mentor supervisors and staff while ensuring CAP/CLIA and state/federal compliance, driving quality and efficiency, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field, 5+ years of leadership in a high-Complexity lab, and active MT certification plus a Florida

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of laboratory leadership experience in a high-volume, high-complexity testing environment.
• Medical Technologist certification (ASCP, NCA, AAB, or equivalent) required.
• Florida Supervisor License required.
• Strong knowledge of CAP, CLIA, and laboratory regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop laboratory supervisors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and federal/state laboratory regulations.
• Drive quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor staffing, workflow, and operational metrics.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service.
