Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, seeks a Department Leader to oversee daily lab operations in Tennessee. You will direct technical and non-technical activities, ensure compliance with CAP/CLIA and state regulations, and manage staffing to meet service metrics.

This full-time on-site role requires strong leadership and a focus on patient-centered results. You will mentor supervisors, drive quality improvement, and collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to deliver timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Minimum years of clinical laboratory testing and Tennessee Supervisor License.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operational activities of the department, including technical and non-technical operations.
• Manage staffing and monitor production schedule to ensure coverage and appropriate overtime.
• Directly supervise and mentor supervisors and all departmental staff.
