Job summary

Tenet Healthcare's Tenet Physician Resources seeks a Lab Supervisor to oversee daily department operations, guide staff, and support personnel hiring and performance management. The role includes ensuring accreditation and regulatory compliance across core lab functions.

You will review quality control, perform tests, maintain instruments, and drive efficiencies to meet service levels while supporting the laboratory director with strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an approved college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology; CLIA high complexity testing qualifications met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily department operations and staff; participate in personnel hiring decisions and performance management.
• Ensure accreditation (CAP, TCJ, AABB or others) is maintained and that regulatory compliance is met.
• Review quality control and patient results; perform laboratory testing and instrument maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Assist in achieving service level agreements through operational efficiencies.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the laboratory director.
