Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories seeks a Technical Coordinator with strong leadership to supervise a day shift in the General Lab. You will oversee daily workflow, ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, JCAHO and OSHA standards, and provide technical guidance to staff.

You will maintain quality control/documentation, support cost analyses, and participate in competency programs while coordinating with on-site management on system initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in medical laboratory technology or clinical laboratory science with four years of nonwaived testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/biological science with two years of nonwaived testing experience.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow and staffing for the section or shift.
• Maintain QC/QA records and ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.
• Support cost analysis and improve departmental financial performance.
• Participate in staff training, competency development, and performance assessments.
• Coordinate with site management and system resources on-site.
