Job summary

qnectU IT Services Utah is seeking a Senior L3 Engineer for our MSP environment. You will own complex projects, backend infrastructure, and advanced escalations, with a focus on automation and documentation to prevent recurring issues.

This role emphasizes non-ticket-focused work—building, improving, and standardizing across client environments while maintaining strong communication with clients when needed.

Qualifications

• Own advanced technical escalations from investigation through resolution.
• Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, or major changes.
• Troubleshoot across Microsoft 365, identity, networking, servers, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and implementations from planning through execution, validation, documentation, and handoff.
• Administer and improve Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, networking, virtualization, and related infrastructure.
• Own advanced escalations when the normal troubleshooting path has run out and the issue requires L3-level experience, access, or judgment.
• Troubleshoot across multiple layers of an environment and plan significant production changes with testing and rollback planning.
• Build PowerShell scripts, Datto RMM components, automated remediation, health checks, and repeatable workflows.
