Job summary

Network Doctor in Englewood Cliffs, NJ is seeking a smart, service‑oriented L2 Support Engineer to provide advanced remote technical support for clients across the NYC Metro Area. You’ll be an escalation point within our Help Desk, guiding L1 engineers and delivering a superior customer experience with every interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Substantial experience with Windows Servers.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (switching/routing, DNS/DHCP, RADIUS, WAP).
• Experience managing Microsoft Windows OS technologies including AD forests, domains, DNS, DHCP, GP and OUs.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities; work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Escalate and resolve complex issues; guide L1 engineers.
• Provide advanced remote technical support for clients.
• Administer Windows Server and Exchange with PowerShell expertise.
• Install and Troubleshoot network gear (routers, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, SSL-VPN).
• Support disaster recovery and backup requests using listed tools.
• Document procedures and best practices; collaborate with project engineers.
