Job summary

Austin Telco Federal Credit Union in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to advance our training programs. You’ll lead instructional design initiatives, create engaging e-learning using Articulate Rise and Storyline, and drive employee development aligned with business goals.

You’ll collaborate with leaders across the organization, mentor teammates, and optimize our LMS and learning technologies to deliver measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus relevant L&D experience.
• 5–7 years in learning and development or related fields.
• Extensive experience with Articulate 360, Storyline, and Rise.
• Experience leading complex training projects.
• Strong adult learning theory and performance improvement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead L&D projects from needs assessment through implementation and evaluation.
• Identify performance gaps with department leaders.
• Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning solutions.
• Serve as SME on instructional design and learning technologies.
• Facilitate training for employees and leaders.
• Collaborate with SMEs to translate content into effective learning.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Provide project leadership for department-wide initiatives.
• Support LMS administration and learning tech optimization.
• Mentor and coach other Learning & Development staff.
• Assist onboarding and development of new team members.
