Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, implement, and evaluate complex learning solutions that improve employee performance and align with organizational objectives. As a senior contributor, you will lead ILT, VILT, blended, and digital learning initiatives, partnering with leaders, SMEs, and stakeholders to identify needs and drive measurable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Master's Degree, certification, or equivalent advanced education preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in instructional design or related field.
• Experience designing both instructor-led and digital learning solutions.
• Experience leading complex instructional design projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and ISD methodologies.
• Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Camtasia, and related tools.
• Strong curriculum architecture and program design capabilities.
• Experience with learning analytics and LMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of complex learning solutions and curricula.
• Conduct performance consulting to identify needs and recommend solutions.
• Design and develop ILT, VILT, blended learning, and eLearning programs.
• Create engaging digital learning experiences with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, and related tools.
• Manage instructional design projects from initiation through evaluation.
• Partner with SMEs, leaders, and stakeholders to ensure content relevance.
• Develop learning strategies and development pathways to support growth.
• Analyze learner feedback and learning data to drive improvements.
• Mentor instructional designers and support quality assurance practices.
• Collaborate with vendors on learning development projects as needed.
