Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Senior Knowledge Management Specialist to lead KM initiatives for the GMOS program supporting the Department of State.

You will guide a high-performing team to develop and maintain KM plans, KBAs, SOPs, and technical documentation across large IT environments. Responsibilities include producing architecture diagrams, RBAC configurations, and training materials, while ensuring compliance with security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 8 years in knowledge management, information management, or related fields; equivalencies considered.
• Active Secret Clearance required to start.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining knowledge management systems, knowledge bases, and technical documentation for large IT environments.
• Demonstrated expertise with content management systems, knowledge management tools, and collaboration platforms.
• Strong technical writing skills with ability to create clear, concise documentation for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills; experience leading knowledge management initiatives and supervising documentation teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Knowledge Management Plan (KMP), including SOPs, quality control procedures, and lessons learned documentation.
• Develop and maintain Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs), conduct semi-annual reviews, and analyze usage trends to identify gaps.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) reflecting modernization and evolving requirements.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and security/compliance documentation.
• Develop training and user enablement materials; maintain self-help resources to reduce ticket volume.
• Maintain and optimize KM repositories; configure RBAC for content visibility and ensure PRA compliance.
• Develop and maintain websites and collaboration platforms to support content management and business processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture institutional knowledge and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Establish metrics and reporting to measure KM effectiveness, content quality, and user engagement.
• Mentor team members and supervise KM staff across multiple project assignments.
