Job summary

Qualifications

• Must follow sanitation regulations and health guidance at all times.
• Experience in a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
• Able to multitask, lead when needed, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring health, safety, and sanitation regulations are followed.
• Support the Kitchen Manager in maintaining a deep cleaning schedule.
• Help coordinate the daily cleaning and upkeep of kitchen equipment and prep areas.
• Provide guidance to kitchen staff in food preparation and proper sanitation practices.
• Prepare all food items as directed, ensuring quality, portion control, and plating standards.
• Create and follow standardized recipes and plating guidelines for consistency.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to usage protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and communicate supply needs.
• Ensure all food items are labeled, stored, and rotated per safety guidelines.
• Uphold all local, state, and federal food safety standards and production codes.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of kitchen staff.
• Support with meal deliveries or distribution when needed.
