Job summary

Mars Snacking is seeking a Sr. Customer Manager for Kroger (Frozen) within the Finance function. You will lead development and execution of key account strategies, creating and applying 3-year plans to accelerate category growth with Mars products across Kroger locations.

You’ll partner with Mars sales and marketing to drive distribution, optimize profitability, and manage broker relationships, leveraging syndicated data to inform decisions and deliver incremental shelf space.

Qualifications

• 5 years of CPG account management or marketing experience in retail.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with ability to drive ~50% of the time.
• Experience with syndicated data sources: IRI, Nielsen, etc.
• Experience in value channel, key account management, category management, shopper insights, or broker management within CPG.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Operating Plans: develop 3-year customer business plans with trends, NSV, operating profit and ROI.
• Developing sales strategies across Kroger sites; manage product distribution and shelf space.
• Customer/broker relationship management: coordinate with Kroger, brokers and Mars teams for forecasting and order fulfillment.
• Translate customer vision into winning propositions and develop innovation pipelines within Mars teams.
