Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies in Seneca, SC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on John Deere equipment. You will mentor trainees, document work orders, and ensure timely submittal of information.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and ability to lift 75 lbs. Teamwork and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing service repairs; metrics-driven performance preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems on off-road equipment.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Conducts or supports customer clinics.
• Accounts for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Maintains thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs on work orders.
• Participates in SERVICE EDUCATE Training programs for skill development.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required for responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area; follows safety rules.
