Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies is hiring a skilled field technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment across the service area. You will mentor junior technicians, support customer clinics, and ensure accurate time and work order documentation.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, plus a valid driver's license. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• Experience operating tools and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
• Experience with basic computer functions; Service ADVISOR or similar diagnostic tools preferred.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment and communicating effectively.
• Must have an adequate toolset to perform responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Conducts or supports customer clinics.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs and timely submittal of information.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows safety rules.
