Job summary

Ag-Pro Companies in the United States is seeking a Service Technician who independently performs complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on John Deere agricultural and turf equipment. You may receive direction from the Service Manager or Shop Foreman.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing John Deere equipment, mentoring technicians, documenting work orders, and participating in training programs. A valid driver's license and a suitable toolset are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• Experience performing repairs and maintenance using special tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Experience with basic computer functions; experience using Service ADVISOR or similar tools preferred.
• Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Conducts or supports customer clinics.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Responsible for documentation of diagnostics and repairs and timely submittal of information.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Maintains a clean work area and follows safety rules.
