Job summary

Red Seal Recruiting Ltd. is seeking an Operational Business Systems Analyst to optimize JD Edwards within a global manufacturing and engineering setting. The role focuses on translating business needs into JD Edwards solutions and leading projects from requirements to implementation.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of JD Edwards experience, strong stakeholder relationships, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with relocation support for non-local USA candidates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an ERP Business Systems Analyst or similar role supporting JD Edwards.
• Strong JD Edwards manufacturing and/or distribution knowledge.
• Understanding of JD Edwards in the broader technology environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business requirements into solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, prioritize requirements, and document acceptance criteria.
• Develop deep understanding of manufacturing, distribution, inventory, production planning, supply chain, and how JD Edwards supports them.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, decision-making, system utilization, and efficiency; measure value with KPIs.
• Design practical JD Edwards solutions with ERP development teams.
• Provide hands-on support and training for JD Edwards users and drive adoption of new functionality.
• Lead JD Edwards projects from requirements through implementation and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain documentation and data quality for JD Edwards and standardized data.
• Stay current with JD Edwards releases, new functionality and best practices.
• Ensure JD Edwards processes meet security, regulatory, and IS requirements.
• Collaborate across Global Information Systems, Operations, Application Engineering, Supply Chain and other teams.
• Deliver business impact by enabling growth and customer satisfaction.
