Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a senior software leader to guide a diverse team building core components for the Renaissance Risk Platform. You will design low-latency data pipelines using Kafka and Flink, drive high-concurrency risk computation engines in Java/Spring Boot, and lead enterprise cloud migration efforts with AWS, Jenkins, Harness and Docker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field and 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience designing high-concurrency, low-latency financial systems.
• Proven ability to lead diverse engineering teams and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud migrations, AWS, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a diverse team of engineers building core platform components.
• Design and deliver low-latency real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Flink.
• Lead architecture of enterprise risk processing with Java, Spring Boot, and Flink.
• Orchestrate cloud migrations with AWS and CI/CD tools to deliver zero-downtime deployments.
• Establish production observability using Splunk and AppDynamics.
